Power Ranker ("we", "us") lets you create, rank, vote on and share ranked sets, join groups, and message friends. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Power Ranker you agree to this policy.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a unique account identifier and, depending on the provider and your choices, your display name and profile photo. You choose a username. You create content — sets, item names and images, rankings and votes, group chat and direct messages, and reactions. We store this so the app works.
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, storage and hosting, and to record app activity such as votes cast and games played (used for features like badges). We use analytics and crash reporting to understand usage and diagnose problems; crash reports may include device model, OS version and diagnostic logs. We do not sell your personal information.
We do not store your email address in your public profile. Your email is held only by the authentication provider and is not shown to other users.
Your username, profile photo, badges, friends list, created sets and public rankings are visible to other signed-in users. Group content and direct messages are visible to the relevant group members or conversation participants. We share data with service providers (Google Firebase, and Algolia for search) who process it on our behalf, and where required by law.
You can change your username, edit or delete sets you created, delete your own messages, and unfriend or leave groups. You can delete your entire account at any time from Profile → menu → Account → Delete account; this removes your profile, username, friends, memberships, badges and notifications, and anonymizes content you contributed to shared sets. Deletion is permanent.
You can report sets and messages you find objectionable, and we review reported content. Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringing.
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data as described above; some records may persist briefly in backups or where retention is legally required.
Power Ranker is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.
The web version of Power Ranker uses Google reCAPTCHA to confirm that requests come from a real browser rather than an automated script. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information from your device and sends it to Google for analysis; it is not used to personalize advertising to you. This use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, in-app notice.
